The Vegas Golden Knights currently have two coaches, head coach Peter DeBoer and assistant coach Steve Spott.
Peter DeBoer was hired as the head coach of the Golden Knights in January 2020, replacing former head coach Gerard Gallant. Prior to joining the Golden Knights, DeBoer had previously coached for the Florida Panthers, the New Jersey Devils, and the San Jose Sharks. He led the Sharks to the Stanley Cup Final in 2016.
Steve Spott has been an assistant coach with the Golden Knights since July 2020. Before that, he was an assistant coach with the San Jose Sharks, where he worked under DeBoer. Spott has also been a head coach in the Ontario Hockey League, where he won a league championship in 2012 with the Kitchener Rangers.
